Reinforcement Mechanism of Micro-Silica Fume in Ultra-High-Strength RPC Concrete
Mainly composed of SiO₂, micro-silica fume with micron-sized particles acts as an ideal admixture for ultra-high-strength concrete. It delivers reinforcement through high pozzolanic activity, secondary hydration reaction and micro-filler effect to fill micro voids among cement grains. For RPC components under steam curing, high temperature accelerates hydration and fully activates its pozzolanic property, enabling components to gain high compressive strength within short curing time, widely adopted for precast high-strength parts.
